Terms of Service

Last updated 1 August 2026

These terms apply when we build a website for you. They are written to be read, not to hide things. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you agree to it.

01Who you are dealing with

Localworks is a trading name of Vaulo Studio Inc., a corporation registered in the State of Delaware, USA (file number 10662255). In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Vaulo Studio Inc. "You" means the business buying the website.

Registered office: 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware 19958, USA. You can reach us at hello@localworksweb.com.

02What we sell

We build websites for a one-time fee. There are three tiers:

Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply where you are. The scope of each tier is agreed in writing before work starts.

03The free preview

Before you pay anything on the Essential tier, we may build you a sample page so you can see the direction and feel of your site. That sample is a demonstration, not the finished build, and it stays our property until you buy.

The free preview applies to Essential only. Signature and Flagship are scoped and quoted first and begin once agreed. Work at that scale is not built on speculation, and we will not pretend otherwise to win a job.

04Payment

Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Your card statement will show the payment to Vaulo Studio Inc.

There is no subscription and no stored card. Nothing recurring is ever charged, and each payment is one you actively make. If an invoice is unpaid we may keep the site offline until it is settled.

05Timelines, and what we need from you

The delivery times above are working times that begin once we have what we need from you: your content, images, logo, access to your domain, and answers to our questions. We cannot start the clock on a website we have nothing to put in.

If you go quiet mid-build, the timeline pauses until you come back.

06Changes and revisions

Each tier includes a reasonable number of rounds of changes, set out in your quote. Changes that alter the agreed scope, extra pages, a different design direction, new functionality, are quoted separately before we do them. We will always tell you when something falls outside scope rather than doing it and invoicing you afterwards.

07Support

Every tier includes the first month of support from the date your site goes live. If something is broken, slow or not working as agreed, we fix it at no charge.

Support does not cover new features, new content, or changes you have decided you want later. Those are quoted as new work. After the first month, ongoing support and changes are available separately.

08Ownership

Once you have paid in full, the website is yours. We hand over the files and the accounts, and you are free to move it, change it, or hire someone else to work on it. We do not hold your site, your domain or your content hostage.

You keep ownership of everything you give us, your logo, photos, text and brand. You confirm you have the right to use anything you send us. We may show the finished site in our own portfolio unless you ask us not to.

09Things outside our control

Your site will depend on services we do not own: domain registrars, hosting, email providers, payment processors, Google. We will set these up properly and tell you what they cost, but we are not responsible for their outages, price changes or policy decisions.

10Cancellation and refunds

Plain version first: if we have not done the work, you get your money back.

Refunds go back to the card that paid, through Stripe, and normally take five to ten business days to appear. Ask for one at hello@localworksweb.com.

What is not refundable is completed work you have accepted and are using. Once your site is live and yours, the fee has been earned.

11Limits of liability

We build websites carefully, but we cannot promise a website will produce a particular number of enquiries, customers or sales. Nobody honestly can, and you should be wary of anyone who does.

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version that applies to your project is the version in force on the day you agreed to the work.
