Our server also records the IP address the enquiry came from. That is used to stop the form being abused by bots, and for nothing else.
No advertising pixels, and nothing following you around the internet. There is no Meta pixel here and we do not run retargeting ads at you after you leave.
We do intend to add ordinary website analytics, so we can see which pages people read and where the site confuses them. When we do, it will be Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, and this page is updated on the day they go on, before the first visit is recorded, not afterwards. Clarity can replay how a page was used, and where it is used its setting to hide anything typed into a form is switched on, so it never captures what you wrote.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us. We do not see your card number, we do not store it, and there is no card kept on file for later.
What we do receive from Stripe is the fact a payment succeeded, the amount, and the name and email on the receipt, so we can match the payment to your job. Stripe holds your payment information under its own privacy policy. There is no subscription and nothing recurring: every payment is one you actively make.
We contact businesses directly about their websites. When we do, the information we hold comes from publicly listed business details, the kind of thing on your Google Business Profile or your own website, along with notes from our conversation.
If you ask us not to contact you again, we record that and honour it permanently. You do not have to give a reason, and once is enough.
A small number of service providers process information on our behalf. They may only use it to provide their service to us:
We do not sell your information, rent it, or hand it to advertisers or data brokers. If we are ever legally required to disclose something, we will comply, but we will not volunteer it.
Our providers store and process data in the United States and other countries. By sending an enquiry you accept that your details may be handled outside your own country.

Email hello@localworksweb.com and we will action it within 30 days. There is no charge and you do not need to explain why. Depending on where you live you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, and we will honour those too.
The site is served over HTTPS. The enquiry form validates and limits what it accepts, and access to our inbox is protected. No system is perfectly secure, but we do not collect payment card details on this website and never ask for them by email.
This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think we have, tell us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
